Germantown Hills Curbside Recycling
Free curbside recycling for Village of Germantown Hills residents only every other
week. Collecting most everything except Styrofoam.
Who is a resident? If you live within the Village of Germantown Hills city limits and you
have city connected sewer, then you live in the city limits.

Schedule
Normal pickup days for standard garbage in Germantown Hills are every Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday.
If any day falls on an holiday then the whole schedule shifts one day. Authorized
recycling containers will be emptied at curbside every other week. The recycling pick up
schedule started Monday Oct 5, but recycling for the week of Oct 5 will be delayed one
week because the containers were not in place at the beginning of the week. The normal
pickup for the week of Oct 5 will be rescheduled to Oct 12.
The cost of standard garbage collection will be added to you sewer bill. Recycling
is free and voluntary.

The Village begins its contract with McCullough disposal for providing garbage collection and recycling services on October 1. Village residents living in single-family homes, duplexes, tri-plexes, or quads, will receive the service and be billed for it monthly on their sewer bill. If a landlord of rental property is currently receiving the sewer bill, the garbage bill will be sent to the landlord. The cost for garbage collection will be $14.00 per month. Recycling pickup will be every two weeks, and is included for free for Village residents receiving garbage collection.

There is a recycling place behind the Kroger on Sterling that accepts brown, green and clear glass ... plus tin cans
You can take all glass and other recyclables to a business located just south of the Cat Mossville plant, just off rt.29. Turn left off 29 and it is 1/8th of a mile on your left. (This is just north of where rt.6 enters Rt.29.)
